AIS, Aplicaciones
de Inteligencia Artificial, S.A. is a multinational consultancy specialized
in software development, integrated solutions for information systems
and company decision support systems. We convert data in information
and information in management tools.
Settled in Barcelona, AIS is leader in the application of ultramodern
methods and techniques, used in the management of several fields such
as financial, insurance, energetic, logistic and industrial.
Our team is composed by multiple groups of professionals specialized
in different areas, with large knowledge of the problems that affect
companies and their sectors. AIS main principle is quality of service.
We want our solutions to be so, solutions. That’s why we like
to work closely with our customers. Together we have developed applications
and overcome difficulties. Our experience through the years has permitted
us getting to know all sectors and areas in which we work, and that
guarantees an optimal quality of service.
This quality has won AIS several awards. First one was in 1993, when
El Periódico de Catalunya and Grupo Zeta gave us the Best Computer
Business Initiative. Two years later, Generalitat de Catalunya gave
us the Catalan Economy Internationalization Award. Last award was received
in 2002, when the Computer Science Faculty of Barcelona awarded us with
a special FIBIT mention to the International Projection.
History
AIS was created by Prof. Trias in 1987 in Barcelona (Spain), starting
its activity developing credit risk management applications for financial
entities. In 1988, the automatic credit evaluation system for personal
loans became the main product, accelerating the growth system.
During the first years, AIS operated mainly in the Spanish market. The
expansion of our activities consisted of introducing the company in
other countries, but also in other economic sectors with sophisticated
support solutions to specific management problems and, on the other
hand, reinforcing our bonds with the financial sector, extending the
treated agendas of risk management.
Expansion
Nowadays, AIS has 4 commercial branches: Argentina, Mexico, Portugal
and Chile inaugurated along the 90s. Thanks to them and to the headquarters’
actions, AIS has exported its solutions to more than 15 countries worldwide;
among them France, Venezuela, Uruguay, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Honduras,
Costa Rica, USA, United Kingdom, Australia, Peru, Green Cape and Colombia.
