AIS sponsors an event on mortgage risk management
February 2007 - Mortgage has been for years the portfolio with one of the highest growth in Spanish financial entities, in spite of the constant recommendations of prudence from the Bank of Spain and to the remarkable rising of the types of interest in the last months. Due to this situation, many organizations are questioning their risk policy.
In order to know how they face the present situation some Spanish banks and saving boxes, the company IQPC organizes an event on mortgage risk management, event sponsored by AIS. The seminar will be in Madrid from May 29th to 31st
In addition to the 8 practical cases, there will be 3 workshops: one on inverse mortgage, another one on mortgage securitisation and the third one on the influence of Basel II in mortgage risk management.
AIS’ CEO, Professor Ramon Trias, will give a lecture on The periodic evaluation of the mortgage guarantee.
